My life’s work and joy is helping people turn towards the one they love.

Max became a psychologist because of his love of people and the relationships between them. He believes we are inherently social animals and that intimacy is the highest expression of our shared humanity.

Max is an incredible listener who makes you feel seen and heard no matter the topic. Despite talking about hard things in therapy, Max’s clients look forward to their time with him because they can feel themselves growing, learning, and beginning to thrive in their lives in ways they never thought possible.

Max’s specialty lies in working with those with any kind of trauma. He cultivates space for clients where they are able to finally understand how their experiences adversely affect them. This is all done with a warm humor and generosity of spirit, evident from the moment you meet him.

Additionally, Max sees many couples where one or both partners have ADHD. He loves this work, as it is deeply rewarding to see couples come together to address a common problem that has sometimes lasted for years. ADHD is a complex yet commonplace presentation that can wreak havoc on a marriage, and he is proud to have helped many people rekindle what felt like lost love because of misunderstandings around ADHD.

Max also provides support in navigating our complex and changing dating world. Some of his most rewarding work has been helping clients become the version of themselves they have always wanted to be, so they can meet the type of partner they have always wanted to meet.

Relationships drive Max both personally and professionally, and you will feel that when you work with him. He loves all forms of love, and believes its healing power is the most valuable asset we have.

I live by the philosophy that
we all have the capacity to better ourselves.
I could spend every day
floating with a loved one on a still summer lake.
As a therapist, I
bring my full self into our shared space.
