A Village of SupportInside the Culture of Philadelphia Couples Therapy“One of the reasons I really love working here is because my life and work feel so well integrated,” Jenny says, reflecting on her journey at Philadelphia Couples Therapy. “That hasn’t always been easy to find in other places, and I really appreciate how present it is here.”

For Jenny, PCT isn’t just where she works; it’s where she feels at home. Her colleagues have become friends, people she enjoys spending time with both in and out of the office. “I really enjoy spending time with my colleagues,” she shares. “Even if we only have five minutes, I can step out after a tough session and someone will offer to listen, make me tea, or simply give me a hug.”
That culture of support makes the work feel sustainable. Couples therapy can feel intimidating, even for experienced clinicians, but Jenny explains: “At every stage, I’ve felt supported. There’s a lot of training and encouragement at the start, and while it’s a steep learning curve, it’s also incredibly rewarding.”
